How to apply for a loan on Berry

As mentioned earlier, Berry loan only requires your ID and phone number for it to work. So here is how to apply for a loan.

  1. Open Google Play Store to download the Berry app.
  2. Once downloaded, open the app to register by providing your biodata in the application form. (The app will then ask for permission to access and read data from your phone, click allow to continue.)
  3. After the app has read, checked and verified data from your phone.
  4. Log in and then click on the “Apply Now” menu button.
  5. Next, select the loan amount you wish to apply and the loan repayment option and wait for your loan to be approved.
  6. The loan will instantly be credited straight to your Mpesa account within minutes of application.

What if your loan isn’t approved?

Applying for a loan for the first time on the app may not be successful. If your loan is not approved, there are things you need to check first because may the loan app didn’t find substantial data on your phone to determine your loan qualification.
